I woke up early this morning, and I was considering something that I could share with you that has helped me.
Well, it didn’t take long for me to figure it out.
One of the first things that I do in my morning every day after I wake up is I fill up my water bottle to help me start hydrating after a good night’s sleep, and then, I get my glass and pour in two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and then fill it up with water. Sometimes I mix a bit of honey with the vinegar to make it extra nice, but most days I like to just keep it simple. I drink half the glass right away, and leave the other half for about an hour before drinking the rest.
So now that I’ve told you what I do, of course, I want to share with you some of the benefits of drinking organic apple cider vinegar. There really are so many benefits to your body from this simple age-old remedy. You might not think drinking vinegar is really your cup of tea, but once you come to know a few of the awesome things it can do for you, you’ll be sold – honestly.
Just a Little Back Story
Apple Cider has a long history! Not even just in one region of the world either. From ancient Babylon and Greece (Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, prescribed apple cider vinegar mixed with honey for a variety of different ills) to the Samurai warriors of Japan who drank it for strength and power. Through the ages, humanity has found great benefits in the humble apple cider vinegar. It is made from the fermentation process with apples, and so not only does it contain healthy acetic acids, but also it develops a living mother culture which also has a lot of benefits in terms of putting healthy bacteria into your body.
Apple Cider Vinegar Helps to Alkalize Your Body
Now if you know anything about keeping your body in an alkaline state, then you’ll know it’s awesome! And apple cider vinegar is the only vinegar out there (as there are many kinds) that actually is alkaline-forming when you put it into your body. I could write a whole other article about the benefits of being alkaline, and I probably will eventually, but just for one thing, most of the bad bacteria that makes us feel sick loves it when our body is acidic. And not only that, our body really doesn’t function so well at all in an acid condition.
So just think, simply doing what I mentioned above in the morning can set your body on the course to health – and it really is that simple.
Keeps the Doctor Away
So as a flow on from there, of course, it is another one of those simple things that you can incorporate into your life that keeps you from getting sick, which especially at this time of year is pretty prevalent. (July here in Australia, for any of my overseas readers, is mid-winter, and notorious for colds and flu. I remember a few weeks back traveling on the bus to University and the whole coughing/wheezing/sneezing around me had just escalated in such a short time.)
In this modern era, where sadly just about everything has sugar in it, it is really important to keep yourself from developing what can become quite a debilitating condition. Even if you don’t have issues, really anybody can benefit from keeping their blood sugar levels within a healthy range.
Apple Cider Vinegar is even great when you get a bit of sore tummy, as it often helps to readjust the acidity in your stomach and kill off whatever that is in there that’s making you feel bad.
Helps to Keep the Weight Off and Reduce Cholesterol
Even the best of us can have issues with a bit of extra belly flab, but once again apple cider vinegar can come to the rescue with even that. Of course, any one thing alone can’t keep you from putting on weight, but I would say just incorporating things like this into your life are like disciplines that will help in subtle ways to shift your whole mindset. And overtime defending against cholesterol buildup and maintaining optimum heart health is really going to work towards not only having a longer life, but a healthy and happier one.
So why not try Organic ACV today?
What do you think? Does it sound like an awesome thing or what? I definitely swear by it, and honestly, don’t just take my word for it. All of what I’ve said is out there on Google, and way more besides. But just think, you could just have a little bottle of organic apple cider vinegar in your fridge, and every morning, like me, you can wake up early, excited for your day ahead, hydrate after a night’s sleep, and then start your day with two tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar mixed in a tall glass of water (or if you have a smaller glass, then one tablespoon would be good. I wouldn’t recommend drinking it too strong!) If you do try it out, let me know in the comments how it makes you feel. I’d love to hear from you.
P.S. I also make my Green Smoothie every morning for breakfast. Check it out too.
